This is one of the hawks that was stalking these little swifts.
My Mystery Stole 3 is off of the needles as of Monday night!! I blocked it yesterday/today. I could not get the wing to block the way I wanted it to. The bind off in the pattern is too tight.
The theme ended up being Swan Lake, and this is the wing end. You can see the feathers, I think they are beautiful.
Cat's Paws like the ballet steps.
The stats on it. Grignasco MerinoSilk in Dove Gray from Woodland Woolworks. I might have used half of the ball, maybe. Size US 3 needles.

Your stole turned out gorgeous. The one picture of the wing actually looks like feathers.
You've done a wonderful job, Tammy!
Gorgeous! I think the blocking came out perfectly :)
The stole looks great! I do love the wing. And I do love the other end, too. And I can see that the whole thing looks beautiful when worn (maybe it's the model). But I still will probably finish mine in the symmetrical style and buy the pattern for the two-winged version. :) SOMEDAY! LOL
See you Friday at the TKG retreat!
Awesome! Just awesome! What a gorgeous piece of work. You must be so proud.
Your stole is beautiful!
Nice! I have put mine aside for a bit for another knitting (socks) but I can't wait to finish it up.
Your pictures of the swifts totally remind me of my elementary school in Portland! I got to see pretty much the same thing and it was awesome!
Your shawls rocks too! Congratulations on finishing it!
Your Swan-lake is beautiful. And funny to see those birds. I just love to see the goose here when they fly south for the wibter, it is rally special to see the triangle form.
