Spring has Sprung.....Or April Showers?

This is what it looked like all last week and even yesterday, you can see the blue sky, and the flowers in bloom. The temperatures in the upper 70's to mid 80's.











Then, in a very short amount of time it did this............



And it got COLD very quickly. Now today it's back to being like the above picture, just not as warm as it has been.




April Showers will not be bringing May Flowers, they are already bloomed and gone!!

No knitting pictures, though I am working on a couple of projects, one I want to get done tonight or tomorrow, but I can't share it yet, since that person (cousin) might be reading this.

Books and more....

Today I bought the Yarn Harlot's new book, "Knitting Rules". I figure if she makes it to Portland, like her schedule says she may, I will be there to meet her with said book in hand for a signature. Now to start reading it so I'll be done in time.

In other news, I finished these beautiful socks using the Magic Loop method of one circular. I love it. It's not as fiddely as dpn's. I like these. They are made with Artyarns SuperMerino. The color is purple and black. SM 138, I think.




I still haven't figured out how to add other blog links to the side or anything else, but I did get the Lavendar Fairy up there. I will try to figure out some more tomorrow. At least now I know how to add some pictures and make some links work. :)

Here we are

Well, much to my dismay, but due to the nudging of a good friend, I have started a blog. My thoughts will be pretty random here, but hopefully lots of knitting and pictures.
