Snow Days AGAIN

Even though the picture date says yesterday, it really was today. Accomplishements? No Knitting. No Quilting. Watching Lots Of News Coverage. Read A Little Bit. Talked To My Stranded Daughter (she spent the night at a friend's home and will be there for several days, probably). Took A TWO HOUR Nap. Did Run The Dishwasher And The Dryer.

It is not supposed to be melting anytime soon, in fact it is supposed to freeze again tonight so the roads will be icy tomorrow.

About a 3 1/2 inch on top of the mailbox and in the driveway.

This was a 2-inch icicle yesterday, today it is closer to 6 inches.

And the violet has finally bloomed. We've had it for several years, it's flowers wilted and never bloomed again until now. We noticed the buds about a week before Christmas. It belongs to Kim.

Looks like another snow day today as well. Already I am getting sick of white. Today might be a good day to bake cookies, don't you think? Stay warm and drive safe.

I like the snow, but when my family isn't together I get kind of concerned. Cookies sound like a good solution to that. Thanks for the idea!!

I love the snow! It's definitely more enjoyable when you don't have to be anywhere. Hope you and your daughter get reunited soon if you haven't already.
