No News is Good News?

Well I hope that saying holds true. I did not hear from my doctor's office on Friday so I called them a little after 2:00pm. They had not received the fax from the pathologist. I do know the pathologist works today, but my doctor won't see it today. Hopefully Monday?

Kim's violet has a second bud that has opened up. Now we wait for the third one. It will probably take another week.

I have my Project Spectrum project for the first two months!! I joined an KAL at the lys store last year. We did the 4 Seasons Afghan. We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to do another one this year. We chose an Aran Afghan this time, the booklet is put out by Leisure Arts and is called, "60 Easy-To-Knit Pattern Stitches Combine to Create Sampler Afghans." I put in an order to KnitPicks yesterday for Wool of the Andes in the colorway Mist. It is a medium gray. I think it will show the cables beautifully. Even though our class or KAL will only do 12 squares, I plan to do 20. I hope the yarn comes this week!!

I am almost done with the second sock of the Rock and Weave Fairgrounds, but I haven't taken any pictures yet. Next time.

Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers.

That sounds awesome! My LYS is just starting the Great American Aran Afghan, which also sounds like a lot of fun.

African violets have the mosttt tender, nurturing connotations for me. The only women I know who have succeeded with them were incredibly loving and generous. The sight of African violets makes me feel that cookies and milk are coming right up.

Bless your dear heart. Waiting is horrible! But if something were WRONG then you would probably be in the hospital already. Throw yourself into God's hands and believe that He will be with you through everything - sickness and helath.
